Michael opened the door, “are we ready?” he asked Raphael.

“Yes, she’s in place right now,” he replied. “Everyone’s here,” Raphael said as he looked behind him at the crowd that gathered.

“Of course, I knew all would be interested we haven’t seen this type of radical change on Earth since Nebuchadnezzar.” Michael replied, then turned towards the entrance,

“Let them through Gabriel.”

Gabriel released the rope at the entrance of the temple. One by one they entered.

Micah entered and flew toward Raphael, “brother everything has been put in place, but she needs you,” he whispered putting his hand on Raphael’s shoulder but intently looking at Michael for approval.

Michael nodded, “go, Raphael, Gabriel will accompany you and protect the message.”

Both Angels stepped back; their majestic wings prepared for flight. The glow that appeared with every feather was so magnificent that the crowd of angelic and galactic beings bowed their heads in reverence.

This was a meeting of the century. Even the demons were allowed to attend and witness the spectacle. Spirits and beings from all over the Universe had heard the news and incredulously came to witness what was about to happen.

Once the Holy Templ overflowed Metatron descended, his wings extended throughout the room almost covering everyone in the building. The wind created by his wings made the trees outside dance in the announcement of his arrival.

He stood next to Michael and reached over behind Michael’s shoulder to keep his words from being interpreted, “we have an issue.” Michael nodded, prompting Metatron to proceed with the information he came to deliver.

“Cameron has been released before he was supposed to, I’ve slowed his car and his ability to focus but he’s receiving help from the old witch who’s been working with three dark ones.”

Michaels's facial expression changed, those standing around him instantly felt the heat that emanated from him. He stood taller and scanned the room. Michael stepped forward onto the middle of the altar raised his hands and exposed his wings. He whispered a prayer and suddenly a beam of light from an opening in the ceiling illuminated three demons standing by the entrance of the temple. Instantly the doors and windows shut with a loud bang. The three demons who were giggling and snarling suddenly trembled with fear.

Michael started walking towards them with intensity. The three demons tried to scatter but they were met with Angels and Ancestors that instantly knew the assignment. Judgment was about to be called and the demons had no were to hide. Even the other demons stood back while the beings of light approached the three malicious spirits.

Michael reached for his sword and raised it before the demons, he looked up again and whispered another prayer. The wind swooshed thru the temple, it worked around the gigantic sword, and it ignited with fire. Michael lowered his sight to the three demons kneeling and whimpering before him. “You have been found and weighted, and for your transgressions, you are cast from every existing in any realm as anything more than organisms at the most profound depths of the ocean to be eaten over and over by your most vicious predator. The Most High has seen and sealed your fate.” Michaels's last sentence roared thru the temple as he brought down his sword and sliced thru all three demons, searing, and dissipating them into their fate.

He then turned and faced all the other demons in the temple and proclaimed sternly, “let this be, yet another, warning for you to never break the sacred truth of Divine Timing or you will feel the wrath of The Most High!”

Michael proceeded back to the alter, he tucked his wings as he approached Metatron. “Go follow Cameron and use your gift to detain him from moving forces.” Metatron left instantly.

“Uriel!” Michael called; Uriel descended from above with gentle ease. “Uriel, you needed to join Metatron to make sure that neither Cameron nor the old witch move the forces. Create the atmosphere needed to bind them until the divine event takes place.”

“Yes Michael,” Uriel ascended again and flew forward through the walls of the temple. His departure left behind a cooling breeze that cleared the smoke from the banishing of the three Demons that just took place.

Michael locked eyes with Nuriel that stood at the entrance of the temple and with a nod sent him to accompany Uriel.

Once Uriel and Nuriel left on their mission, Michael turned his focus on the crowd, “As you all know we are here to witness an important event. We do not know the outcome, but we do understand that the creator has seen it fit to have all of you, foes, and friends, witness salvation. If you were standing in this temple, consider yourself privileged and understand that at this moment this one salvation can change the course for all humanity.”

As Michael proclaimed these words, the screen descended from the roof, and immediately an image was displayed. The roar in the room was completely quiet.

Gya got home. She laid her purse and keys on her dresser. Her heart was heavy all the way home as she was driving. Every song that played reminded her of Rose but it was more than just a reminder it was like punishment; she didn’t know what she was feeling, she didn’t want what she was feeling, but somehow she felt like something was going to happen to her.

As she undressed and got ready to shower, her phone rang, she almost reached for it to see who it was, but something stopped her. For the first time in a long time, she didn’t feel like talking to anyone; she didn’t feel like being with anyone. She was glad she was alone right now, and Cameron was locked away. That whole situation, she thought, was crazy and it just happened only two nights ago.

She got home from work and started cooking. It had been a good day or at least she pretended to be she hadn’t picked up her girls from her mother’s house yet, she decided she would cook, sweep, mop, and then go get her two girls. She turned on the music on her phone and started prepping her meat when she heard the key trying to unlock the door. Her heart raced; Cameron wasn’t supposed to be back for another week. She quickly wiped her hands on her shirt turn off the music and stood there, listening to him try and unlock the door. She had the locks changed yesterday. The handyman was supposed to come three days later, but as she stood there, she realized that his strange car urging her to change the locks yesterday was some sort of kismet. Gaia looked down at her hands, she was shaking. She wasn’t sure how Cameron would react, but she knew that it wasn’t going to be pretty. She has her phone in her hands ready to call for help if she needed it. Cameron instantly realized that the locks had been changed and started banging on the door.

“I see your car, you stupid bitch open the fucking door right now I’m gonna fucking kill you.” He screamed.

Gaia ran from the kitchen to her room and locked the door behind her. Cameron was still outside, banging and making such a fuss that she wondered if the neighbors were going to call for help before she would. and then suddenly everything went silent.

Gya awaited. She didn’t know what to do. She wanted to look out the window, but she thought it was too soon. This is too easy. After about five minutes of silence, she started to calm down, but she kept her phone in her hand just in case. She got up from her bed, where she was sitting, and carefully approach the window. All she could hear was her breathing in a heartbeat. She took a few deep breaths and found the courage to pull back the blind. It was already dark outside, so she wasn’t completely sure what she was looking at her house her eyes adjusted. She saw his eyes staring right back at her, and with one fell swoop he reached his fist through the glass window and caught her neck, busting her face into the glass, and pushing her back, he started kicking at the glass to make his way in. Gya was on the floor bleeding, feeling the warm blood dripping down her forehead onto the floor. She turned her body and started crawling towards the door of the bedroom, but he caught her foot as he stepped into the room and pushed his boot into her back, stopping her and her tracks. He reached down and pulled her by her hair. He grabbed a broken glass from the floor and put it on her neck.

“You thought you were going to kick me out of my own house you dumb ass hoe. You know how crazy I am why would you think I wouldn’t kill you?” He screamed in her ear.

Gya squirmed, trying to free herself from his grip, but as she moved the glass in his hands, started piercing her neck. She looked down at his hands. The psychopath is holding this glass in his hand bleeding all over she thought. She stopped moving. He pressed the glass harder and harder into her neck. She can feel her warm blood starting to leak.

“Now you’re gonna pay!” Cameron said he forced her to turn around back on her back.

As he held the glass to her neck, he started to unbuckle her pants. Gaia knew she couldn’t move, or she would die. Tears started welling up in her eyes. She knew what came next. She thought she would rather die. Instead of just lying there like she usually did, she cried out.

“God help me!” She raised her knees into Cameron‘s crotch and debilitated him. Instantly he fell back he stumbled back in as she was standing up. She pushed him so hard that he fell right back out of the window. She reached for the phone and dial 911 and then ran to her bathroom, locked the door, and sat in the bathtub.

Gya looked out the window all boarded up; her father told her that he would be coming and fixing the window sometime today. She wasn’t interested in seeing anyone tonight and she thought back to the moment she cried out for God, she realized that was the first time she had cried out to God since she was a little girl. She realized that the last time she cried out to God was when she had been taken by her uncle. Uncle Jean had asked her mother to take her on a special day of fun. When she got back and told her mother what the actual special day of fun was, she was crying and disheveled, her mother said to her that she was born for this; to be used. Gya never to called on God again.

Now here she was twenty-two years after crying out for God’s help; speaking to God, wondering if God even listened to her. Her tears started welling up again. That’s another thing she hadn’t done in a long-time, cry for no reason, at least she thought it was no reason. She just cried when she wanted to manipulate someone into believing she cared about how they felt or when she got caught fucking up. She didn’t understand why she did what she did. She just knew it was the only way to get by. Nobody was watching, nobody was listening. She just sat there and cried. Calling God again felt stupid, but she figured there was nothing else to lose. She had almost lost her life and whomever God saw fit to help her gain the energy and the courage she needed to fight for her life.

“I don’t know if you hear me. I don’t even know if you exist, at this point I don’t care I just need…” she stopped.

She didn’t know what she needed. She needed something because everything inside her heart felt broken and her body felt such a dis-ease that it made her nauseous. She took a deep breath and started praying again.

“Look I don’t know what I need. I don’t know what I want. I used to know but right now, I’m right here with no idea. I just know that I can’t do this by myself.” She cried, “I can’t keep being this way. I don’t want to hurt anymore. I don’t wanna be broken anymore, I don’t wanna lie, I don’t wanna cheat, I don’t wanna steal anymore, but I need help because I do all those things without even knowing. Just like the other night when I thought I couldn’t get out from being rapped yet again, I need you to help me wherever, whoever you are, I’m asking you to please help me.” She looked at her hands that were laying on her lap balled up in a fist. She realized she was tense, she raised both of her hands to her eyes, and wiped the tears away from her face- the sting from the cuts made her wince; with palms facing up she raise her arms and said “Most High, I surrender I give up, I am not right I have been wrong of all along, and if you exist, I need you to please rescue me from myself and this hell.”

Michael smiled at the projected image. He watched Raphael cover Gya with his wings and Gabriel support her hands lifted in the air.

The temple shook with the roar of all the angels and ancestors, and even demons that cried out in surprise and awe. Angels blew their trumpets; ancestors were drumming their drums. The demons scattered out of the temple, and the heavens opened above them with a warm, shining light as they all danced before their sovereign Creator.

Michael watched the screen still. And saw that the same light poured onto Gya in her room; Raphael and Gabriel raised their hands and prayers and glory. The work now was done, and they were victorious.

Gya felt heat rise through her spine into her crown. She wondered if she was having a mental breakdown. Something whispered to her that she was going to be just fine; she looked around to make sure she was alone. She wondered if she was just going crazy but then she had the sudden urge to smile and just lay down. She closed her eyes for the first time in years she slept peacefully and instantly.

Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Nuriel, and Metatron were the only ones left in the temple after the celebration.

Raphael turned to Michael and said, “do you think she’ll make it to the mission in time?”

“I don’t know Raphael; all I know is that the Most High has deemed it necessary for us to continue to pave the way for them to make better choices. This will lead them to each other. Whether they take that path or not, it’s up to them now.”
